Using them should expedite the CADD process and help fulfill expected drawing variables and settings. It is recommended that all project drawings be created utilizing these templates. These resources have been created with the intent of minimizing the time and effort necessary to meet the CADD Standards requirements. The following is a list of CADD Resources available for download which have been prepared to aid individuals, professionals and companies in adhering to the requirements of the Design Standards Manual in particular Book 6: CADD Standards. The CADD Resources are also references in Book 6 CADD Standards CADD8.02 General. The Standards Drawings and Details are available in Adobe Acrobat Portable Document File (PDF) and Autodesk review design filed (DWF) format. When a special detail is created, it must not conflict with other requirements in the Standards, other City Utilities’ Engineering (CUE) Standard Drawings and Details, or National CADD Standard V5.0 (NCS) guidelines. The details are expected to be used as presented.
The appropriate Standards and Drawings are to be used as part of the Project Documents related to the CUE project and should be used in conjunction with the other Utilities Design Resources.
